Rozi began animating with a Super8 camera and some pipe-cleaners in her parents' back garden. After completing a BA in Fine Art, and an MA in Film Production her graduation film, Sibyl’s Garden, took her to Canada. There she animated for Cuppa Coffee Animation on children’s shows, for HBO and Nick Jr.

'Fly Me To The Moon' performance with Mary Oliver

Back in Yorkshire she has directed several short films which have screened at festivals around the world. She has also provided animation for broadcast including commercials and title sequences for C4 and BBC. Recent collaboration projects have involved animating characters to interact with live performers, in the work for Mary Oliver of ViP Productions, and with The Kelman Group.

Rozi teaches on workshops and schools projects, and lectures at Leeds Met University. A recent commission was to provide three 10-minute animated films, to be projected during performances by Hull Sinfonietta.

Rozi is also an active member of Ayup – The Animated Yorkshire Network.
